HIKE TO SAVICA WATERFALL

Of the many tributaries of the lake, the most important is the Savica waterfall. The water comes from the underground Triglav Lakes Valley and through the wall of Komarče; as Savica waterfall, which is the most famous Slovenian waterfall.

Savica runs level for over 38m and then falls almost 51 meters deep. The total difference in height is 78m. Along side the main waterfall is a second, smaller, waterfall falling into a pool 25m deep. Together they form a beautiful double waterfall in the shape of the letter A.
